We Christians

We Christians walk by faith in Jesus who gave Himself up for us. He carried our sins on the cross and when He died our old sinful selves died with Him. Our old self was buried with Him through baptism and our new self was raised up in the heavenly places with Him into newness of life (born again) where we now live and walk by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit now leads us in good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. For we are His workmanship which He created in Christ Jesus. We are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

And this we do, we proclaim His excellencies in our daily walk, for we walk humbly in the name of His Son Jesus, as grateful children of our kind and gracious Father in heaven. We worship Him with reverence and sincere obedience, giving Him honor and glory in all things. We consider ourselves to be dead to sin, and alive to God, having been bought with the price of the body and the blood of Jesus.

By God’s grace, we will continue to proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light until our last breath. When Christ returns to welcome and take us home, we will be changed into new bodies just like His in which we will continue to proclaim God’s excellencies throughout eternity.
