Christ Our Passover

And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each man’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay upon earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ, 1 Peter 1:17-19. Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed, 1Corinthians 5:7.

Isn’t it wonderful? We walk day by day and night by night with the blood of the Lamb of God sprinkled on the door posts of our hearts, never fearing that God’s wrath might come upon us. Instead, we rest in the peace that surpasses all understanding and comprehension, which guards our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus our Passover.

“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever,” Revelation 5:12, 13.
